Budarin State Wildlife Refuge - created in 1967. The area of the reserve is 80,000 hectares. The reserve is located in the West Kazakhstan region, Akzhaik and Zelenovsky districts.
The main task of the reserve is the protection of waterfowl lake birds and upland game, settlement in artificial reservoirs of the Ural-Kushum irrigation system.
