MCCG is an incorporated volunteer organization that operates under Articles of Association, with the following objectives: To work with the Brisbane City Council towards the implementation of the actions recommended in the Catchment Management Plan published by BCC in June 1997;

Every year hundreds of millions of litres of sewer water tainted with untreated sewage is dumped directly into the Ottawa River. The City of Ottawa has a plan to stop this appalling situation and Ecology Ottawa is working to make sure there is funding available to implement the plan.
